Each of our Before and After School Programs engaged in different community involvement projects leading up to the Holidays. We are very proud of all our students and their commitment to making a difference in our community, country and world!
Holiday Cards for Seniors!
We reached out to the Waterdown Community to volunteer our B&A groups’ time and to send Holiday cards and artwork to the elderly. The children were very eager to get them started!
Flamborough Connects is running a Holiday Gift Program, where they collect donations and put together gifts for local seniors who are low income and isolated. We have been asked to make cards for the seniors to be added to their gift bags! Each group has very lovingly created many cards that have been put into quarantine to ensure none of our germs make it to them! We are so excited to drop them off to lift up their spirits during this challenging time for all of us! Below are some pictures of all of the hard work and effort that went into making the cars as special as they could be! We hope they love them!
