Before / After School Age Care Registration (2019-2020)

As you are aware, our programs are contingent upon school buildings being open. The HWDSB school closure due to COVID-19 distancing requirements has been extended until at least May 4th. Likewise we extend our deadlines to withdraw from the programs (in order not to be charged) until 2 days before schools are re-opened, this school year. Upon request, a refund of any credit remaining on an existing registration can be refunded. Should schools be closed for the remainder of this school year, any remaining credits will be refunded to families automatically at that time.×

Our program is flexible and convenient. Located at your local school so a child’s active day isn’t interrupted.  We offer Mornings and/or Afternoons, and 1 – 5 days per week.

At this time we take your Wait List Request even though there may be space available in our program.  As soon as we determine what space we can offer you, we will contact you back by email with details.

IMPORTANT: We are gathering interest in a FLAMBOROUGH CENTRE program to begin in the 2020-2021 School Year.  Please contact us at if you would like more information.

2020 – 2021 School Year Registration:  We expect to release our registration online to new families some time middle to end of May of 2020 – after it has been offered to our currently registered families (there is no preliminary or wait list registration done in advance of that).

Hours of Operation:
(All extended hours, snacks* included in your camp fees.)

  • Before Care: 7 – school start (includes a Healthy snack)
  • After Care: school end – 6pm (includes a Healthy snack)

Note: *Healthy nut-free snacks are provided during Before and After Care.

Making Payments

All payments for our School Age program are made by Pre-Authorized Debit, taken on the first Tuesday of each month in which care is given. Some families are also subsidized under contract with the City of Hamilton.

New families only: A deposit of 50% of the first month’s fee is required upon receiving a confirmed registration space.  This amount will be credited to your first month fee, and can be made by cheque or INTERAC eMail Money transfer.

A PAD Authorization form is required (a link is also provided in your confirmation email) and should be submitted within 2 business days of a confirmed registration (unless we already have one on file for you). In some cases you may be asked to provide payment for the first month by another means.

No refunds for cancellations will be given for Before / After School Program Fees within 30 days of the Program Month start.

Due to the high demand, limited enrolment and need to secure program resources; we require our families’ full commitment upon registration. Credits or refunds are not given for illness, absences or program / facility closures due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Wait List Policy

Space in our programs is limited (and we adhere to Ministry guidelines for safe and effective Adult/Child ratios). We reserve the right to refund and cancel enrolments as needed if an accidental overbooking or program cancellation occurs. Enrolment preference is given to families who have been enrolled in the prior year.

Wait List

If the programs do fill, parents will be offered a spot on our Waiting List in case we receive able to open another group, or openings occur due to cancellations. Wait List priority is not guaranteed as we do not take deposits, and we normally offer available space first to families previously enrolled in one of our programs.

    • To avoid confusion, it is important that you do not create duplicate accounts.  If you have lost or forgotten your original email, then please contact and we will make an adjustment so that you can proceed.
  3. Create or Review and submit a Parent Record and Child Record(s)
  4. Use the Before / After School Registration links on your Family Registration page (in the Child Record and Registration Tab).

If you think you have a registered member login, but the system does not recognize you, or your parent record or children are missing, then please email and we can look to see if you have an account under an old email address or a back-up.

Wait List Notes:
Please do not assume that because our programs show “Wait Listed” that we are completely full. We normally contact you with a day or two to confirm current and planned availabilities. If you would like to inquire about availabilities before registering, please email with your child’s name(s), age(s) and schedule requirements.
