September 2027 School Year Wait List Registration is currently under way!
Currently attending and 2025-20236 B&A wait listed families, as well as any Member who has already created a Parent Record and a Child Record, can start their registration from your Family Registration Page.
It is important to UPDATE both your Parent and Child Records FIRST (using the link below each on the appropriate Tab). If the form won’t let you proceed (and gives an UPDATE needed error), then please close your web browser completely and re-open it to log in and proceed again as we have had some people reporting web cache issues (meaning your web browser doesn’t see the update without being restarted).
We will not start offering new families registering after May 3rd space from the Wait List until after May 15th.
We do not anticipate a “reduction” of available space at each of our schools, and we will also again be reviewing the viability for an Afternoon Program at Flamborough Centre Elementary from registrations.
New “Lottery” System for pre-registration windows
Offers of space will be made using an internal random selection system for each level of priority (explained below), along with some other typical prioritiztions (Parent Handbook) we make within each level, for these two early registration windows. (No need to stay up late to make an early registration!)
Because of the random selection system, you can register any time during these windows with NO ADVANTAGE for being first to register as we won’t take time and date of registration into account unless registering after those windows. Registrations made during this period will have an equal chance of obtaining a space (within each Priority Level below).
Being Wait Listed does not necessarily mean that we have run out of space. We will confirm the status of all Level 1 – 6 (pre-registering by May 3rd) by May 15th if we can, and notify other registrants of their status starting after May 15th.
Priority Levels (during the pre-registration window periods)
- current attendees
(maintaining their space through June 2026 who register for the same session(s) and school), - new siblings of (1) at same school with same schedule.
If this is a new sibling of current attendees who will withdraw prior to June 2026, or with different schedules, then they will have the same priority as children changing schools (5), - currently attending children (and their new siblings) making schedule changes (changed or added sessions),
- new graduates from our ELCC Preschool program,
- currently attending children changing schools (at time of pre-registration), and new siblings of non-returning attendees,
- children who were wait listed for space for the 2025-2026 school year (prior to April 21),
- new children joining (or rejoining after an absence) the program without alternative priorities,
- any child registering for a start date later than the second week of September.
There are special over-riding priorities offered to children of our Staff, area educators, children requiring in-school care, etc. that may take precidence. Please read the Parent Handbook to review these additional priority policies.
Registering for the 2025- 2026 B&A Wait List alone will NOT put you on the wait list for next September 2026.
As there has been limited space available in child care programs since COVID, due to a number of reasons, we DO advise ALL families to review all alternative options for care, as we have been unable to accommodate all who apply.
