2022 – 2023 Camp Waterdown School Age PA Days and Holiday Care Registration

2022 – 2023 PA DAYS & Holiday Program

Registration for the January 4, 5, & 6 Winter Holiday Program 2023 has begun! It is a 3-day registration and CWELCC reduced rates will apply for children under 6 years old (or who turn 6 in January).  A link to register will appear on your Family Registration page.

NOTE: We only have limited space available for our January Holiday Program.  Our enrolled Before & After School children (and siblings where we are able) are offered priority to register until December 9th.

If your children do not attend our Before & After School Programs, we are accepting Wait List registrations now, and will offer up any remaining space after December 9th on a priority basis. No deposit is required for our Wait List

If you are interested, at any age, it is worth going on our no-obligation Wait List as we may expand our capacity if there is enough interest shown.

In some cases registrants and children in Grade 1-2 and sibling groups may be offered space in a Mixed Age group with Kindergarteners.  Reduced CWELCC Rates will apply for children under 6 or who turn 6 in January.

Our program will be closed December 26 – 30, 2022. School and program closures can be found here.

Registration for prior registrants is done from your Family Registration page here: https://www.campwaterdown.com/registration/#fndtn-tabpane-0-1
[Hint: Be sure to Update your Child Record first if it hasn’t been done since the new year.]

Registration for new families is done starting at the bottom of this page.

Once registered for a specific program, should you wish to add on another day , please contact register@campwaterdown.com (or use the Change Request Link associated with your registration) as this needs to be processed manually.

We will only send an email to our general mailing list (outside of current and past participating Member) if we have significant spaces remaining to offer.

Building Confidence / Having Fun!

Our PA Day and School Holiday programs are very specially planned to both entertain and educate children in a wide variety of exploration, STEM activities, resiliency, art, sports and achievement skills.

Our educators group children within their age cohorts and redefine the day’s theme in discussion and coordination with the whole group so that we make each day a special and custom experience for your children. Our philosophy here is that we empower children to contribute to their own education experience, to learn the way they do best, while making new friends and coming away with a well balanced day of physical activity, mind challenges, and mindfulness thinking.

Guy B. Brown Elementary School at 55 Braeheid Ave., Waterdown

7:30am – 5:30pm (Drop Off Time is 7:30-9:00am only and Pick Up Time is 4:00-5:30pm ONLY.

Our full day programs and field trips do not provide children with snacks or drinks other than water to fill water bottles, so please remember to pack a nutritious and nut free lunch along with morning and afternoon snacks as well as a water bottle labelled with your child’s name please.

Most of our programs are planned to be as accessible as possible to children of all abilities who already attend school with the HWDSB. In some cases, due to our limited staffing, children needing additional supervision or mobility accommodations may require advance assessment for community living supports for eligibility. Some specific activities and trips may also require additional support to be arranged in advance, or may not be a good fit for some children. We do not provide alternative care for children who cannot or don’t want to go on a field trip program. Please be sure to speak with our Camp Program Director, Katelyn Kusmirski, at 905-689-5342 before registering and well in advance of the program dates(s) should you have any preliminary questions or concerns.

Registration and Wait List Policy

Space in our programs is limited ( we adhere to Ministry guidelines for safe and effective Adult/Child ratios). We reserve the right to refund and cancel enrolments as needed if an accidental overbooking or program cancellation occurs.

Wait List

Children who are not currently attending one of our schools’ Before & After School programs will automatically join our Wait List. If the programs do fill up, parents will be offered a spot on our Waiting List; in case we are able to open another group, or due to unexpected cancellations. Wait List priority is not guaranteed as we do not take deposits, and we normally offer available space first to families previously enrolled in one of our programs and other prioritization criteria.

The registration process consists of these steps:
