Each of our Before and After School Programs engaged in different community involvement projects leading up to the Holidays. We are very proud of all our students and their commitment to making a difference in our community, country and world!
Spreading Joy and Safety!
Our AAG Kindergarten Program recognized that this year has been tough on all of us, and they think that everyone deserves to feel a little joy in their day! With the holiday season around the corner, we thought we should bring a little cheer to those who take community walks around the neighbourhood!
The children wrote positive, cheerful and happy messages to hang in our classroom windows. We hope to brighten other people’s day and make them smile!
The older School Age Program thought it was important to give back to the community, and those who walk near our program. The children decided they wanted to shovel the public walkway and staircase that is frequently used to walk children to school, dog walking, and family walks! They wanted to make sure nobody would slip during their outdoor time! The children are excited for the next snowfall, so they can get their shovels out and continue helping the community!!
